Insperity App Mock-up

While working at Insperity, I was asked to develop a prototype for a mobile app. I chose to develop in InVision which allowed for precise element placement and interactivity similar to what the real application would provide.

Safe Harbor Lyme

I was asked to develop a website for a non-profit that helped those suffering from Lyme Disease by offering financial and emotional support and guidance. The founder, who also suffered from the disease, was very passionate about the cause and wanted a website that looked professional, contained plenty of useful information, accepted donations and inquiries and offered hope to those who were unsure where to turn.

In addition to the site development, I also created the logo for this site. After the project was completed, the members of Safe Harbor Lyme board were extremely happy with the design and functionality of the site.

Memory Game

This memory game project was an assignment given to me in my Udacity Nanodegree program, and is meant to demonstrate my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was asked to build a complete browser-based card matching game (also known as Concentration). The project rubric had the following requirements:

Game Behavior

• The game randomly shuffles the cards. A user wins once all cards have successfully been matched.
• When a user wins the game, a modal appears to congratulate the player and ask if they want to play again. It should also tell the user how much time it took to win the game, and what the star rating was.
• A restart button allows the player to reset the game board, the timer, and the star rating.
• The game displays a star rating (from 1 to at least 3) that reflects the player's performance. At the beginning of a game, it should display at least 3 stars. After some number of moves, it should change to a lower star rating. After a few more moves, it should change to a even lower star rating (down to 1).
• The number of moves needed to change the rating is up to you, but it should happen at some point.
• When the player starts a game, a displayed timer should also start. Once the player wins the game, the timer stops.
• Game displays the current number of moves a user has made.

Arcade Game

This arcade game project was an assignment given to me in my Udacity Nanodegree program, and is meant to demonstrate my understanding of object oriented programming by writing classes capable of creating countless instances of similarly functioning objects. I was provided visual assets and a game loop engine, and I was expected to use these tools to add a number of entities to the game including the player characters and enemies to recreate the classic arcade game Frogger. The project rubric included the following requirements:

Game Functions

• The game functions correctly and runs error free.
• Player can not move off screen.
• Enemy bugs cross the screen.
• Enemy-player collisions happen logically (not too early or too late).
• Enemy-player collision resets the game.
• Something happens when player wins.

Object Oriented Code

• Game objects (player and bugs) are implemented using JavaScript object oriented programming features.

Huco

This website is currently in development. I am working on the front-end of one of my employer's brand companies, using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, Bootstrap 4 and Flexbox. When finished, this site will be paired with Sitecore's content management system, where I will continue to develop and maintain the front-end and, to a lesser extent, the back-end.
